Nick Melas is an Associate Director in the Sydney office of Odgers Berndtson with the primary responsibility for managing the firm’s client interests in New South Wales Government and Queensland Government. His areas of focus include the retail, transport infrastructure, advanced waste technology and construction sectors.
Nick brings a highly valuable understanding to a broad range of public policy issues, through his experience in both the government and small business sectors.
Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson in 2009 he was the Managing Partner of Specialist Opinion Group, a medico-legal consultancy providing expert and independent advice to the health insurance industry, major law firms, and government departments and agencies. Between 1993 and 2001 he worked as a senior political adviser in Sydney and Canberra.
Nick was educated at the University of New South Wales and holds a Bachelor of Arts majoring in political science and industrial relations and is fluent in Greek.
