Geoffrey Forester

Geoffrey Forester is Senior Partner and Chairman of the Technology and Business Services Practice and Co-Head of Global Technology. He specialises in advising client boards on their structure and succession planning.

Geoffrey began his career in Executive Search and Selection in 1974. He started and managed the Executive Search division of a leading UK recruitment group. Prior to the formation of Odgers Berndtson, in 1980 he was Senior Partner for Berndtson International in London. This leading European firm developed in 1994 to be Odgers Berndtson worldwide. In 2001 he became Chairman of the Technology Practice. Geoffrey has recruited across numerous industry sectors at the highest level. His specialist sectors are telecommunications, software and IT services, business consultancy, high technology manufacturing, security, defence and aerospace. He often works on an international basis.

Geoffrey has an Honours degree in Chemical Engineering from Swansea University. His earlier career was in Marketing with Shell Chemicals and as Sales Manager for a large processing plant and equipment company.
