Elena Chernyshkova heads the Not-for-Profit and Education Practice in Moscow. Her responsibilities include selection of key people for nonprofit and educational institutions and advising on strategy.
Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson Elena served as a Strategic Projects Director in SKOLKOVO business school. She was responsible for strategic alliances and partnerships, donors relations as well as fundraising for the school.
Prior to SKOLKOVO Elena spent over 10 years working as an Advisor to Dr. Dmitry Zimin, the Founder of Vimpelcom (Beeline) and as a director of the Zimin’s family foundation. The Dynasty Foundation.
Elena is actively involved with Russian and international public organizations:
2004-2009 - Chairman of the Russian Donors Forum,
2005 - present - Member of the Russian-American-European New Eurasia Foundation,
2009 – present - Member of the Expert Board of the Moscow Polytechnic Museum,
2009 - present – Trustee of the European University in St. Petersburg.
Elena graduated from Moscow State University specializing in economic geography of the world.
