Brent Knevett

Brent Knevett is an Associate Director of Odgers Berndtson Australia, based in Canberra. As a government relations professional his primary role is to identify and pursue executive search opportunities in the Commonwealth Public Service, as well as across Australia’s state and territory jurisdictions. He is closely familiar with recruitment processes in the Senior Executive Service of government administration in Australia. He has particular expertise in the defence, infrastructure, and telecommunications sectors.

Prior to joining Odgers Berndtson during 2009, he was the Tasmanian Government’s representative in Canberra from 2004-2009. Previously, he worked in the Australian diplomatic service for twelve years, with overseas assignments in Venezuela, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Spain.

Brent has an honours degree in Economics from the University of Tasmania and a MBA from the Queensland University of Technology.
