    UNBC is now seeking a Tenured Senior Associate or Professor who will serve as Chair of the School of Environmental Planning and provide strong academic leadership in developing the potential of the School and its areas of study. The ideal candidate will have academic leadership experience along with a record of excellence in teaching and scholarship.

    The School of Environmental Planning at the University of Northern British Columbia provides a dynamic undergraduate education and addresses contemporary environmental planning and sustainability issues including climate change, economic change, biodiversity, resource management, environmental stewardship, Aboriginal planning and urban sprawl. The School offers a Bachelor of Planning degree with three major areas of study: First Nations Planning, Northern and Rural Community Planning, and Natural Resources Planning
